Our Story
Kodai Cheese is India’s oldest, third generation family run cheesemaking business since 1972. A passionate venture from the foothills of Kodaikanal, in southern India that started farmstead cheese production with wagons bringing up a mere 50 litres of milk for cheese. In the last 50 years, we have grown in capacity and experience to bring you unique Indian versions of the best cheese varieties from around the world. Engaged in both large scale commercial and small batch artisanal cheesemaking focused on sustainability and quality, our complete line is made with the freshest milk and the most authentic recipes.
